I am thrilled to announce that our school has maintained its ‘Good’ rating in our recent Ofsted inspection. This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of our entire school community. The inspectors praised many aspects of our school, including the quality of teaching and the personal development of pupils.
Key Highlights from the Ofsted Report:
• Quality of Education: The school has constructed an ambitious and expertly crafted curriculum. This allows staff to consider pupils’ multiple starting points. Individualised approaches support pupils to learn well. Teachers have strong levels of subject expertise. They assess pupils’ gaps in knowledge and skills on entry to the school. They use this information to inform the personalised approach to learning.
• Safeguarding: Staff are well trained in safeguarding and are highly vigilant to potential concerns. Safeguarding staff are diligent and take precise action to protect vulnerable pupils. Relationships between staff and pupils are positive overall. This helps pupils to feel safe as they know they can confide in staff if they have a concern.
• Personal Development: Our school’s focus on personal development was particularly noted. The wider personal development of pupils is a strength. The curriculum is enhanced by well-thought-out opportunities to build pupils’ cultural capital, for example, by going on visits to local historic sites. Important issues such as tolerance and respect are taught well. Pupils say their school is inclusive and welcoming. Differences are celebrated.
While we are incredibly proud of our accomplishments, we are also committed to continuous improvement. My team and I will use the feedback from the Ofsted inspection to further enhance our educational offerings and ensure that we maintain the high standards we have set.
This result would not have been possible without the support of our parents and the hard work of our staff and students. My heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed to this success. Let’s continue to work together to make our school an even better place for our students to learn and grow.
