Thursday 1st November 2018- Helping Young People Cope with Life (parents and carers programme)
Details: This course has been designed for parents and carers, to help build an understanding of the challenges 12-18 year olds commonly face and equip them with knowledge and skills that can be used to help guide young people through what can be tough and challenging times.

Friday 2nd November 2018- Preventing Radicalisation and Violent Extremism for foster carers
Details: This 2 hour workshop is for Foster Carers and explores the factors that can lead to extremism by identifying the links between vulnerability and radicalisation. The workshop will better equip you to be able to support people who might be susceptible to radicalisation, ensuring that individuals are diverted before any crime is committed.

Wednesday 7th November- Autism, Adolescence and Education – an Autistic Perspective

Thursday 8th November 2018- Stay Safe Community Safety Briefing for Parents & Carers
Details: Informal early evening session led by the NSPCC for parents and carers, based on the award winning Stay Safe, Speak Out campaign. Hear information about ways to help keep young people safe online, feel confident recognising the warning signs of Child Sexual Exploitation and Radicalisation and get access to resources to use with children and young people.
