Hello to all from the  WSAPC community.

I would like to introduce myself to you as the Head Teacher for WSAPC and also to my new “blog” where I will try to keep you up to date with all the interesting things that have been going on across the APC centres.

For starters, did you know that we are one of the largest Alternative Provision colleges in the country and have centres spanning  from Chichester to Crawley and from Lancing to Burgess Hill? This means that we can provide support for pupils with a range of needs in all of West Sussex but ensure that we deliver a similar approach and curriculum for our pupils as we are run centrally like a school.

In my blog, I will be trying to convey the spirit of our college by updating you on events that have taken place and other “good news” stories so that you get a better feel for who we are and what we are about! To kick off the information I would like to say a big thank you to the pupils, parents and carers for being so supportive of our new school uniform.  It delights me to see that your children are taking great pride in wearing our APC uniform.

A big thank you and well done to Worthing 14 to 16 centre in winning the Brighton and Hove Albion inter school 6 a side tournament last month at the triangle at Burgess Hill!

Lastly , well done to all those centres who donated their time and effort in raising funds for Children in Need last Friday.

Keep on checking the web site for more updates and information about our college.  We value your time with this.

Warm regards

Doug Thomas
